My Mom celebrated a big birthday last week. A lady never shares her age, so I won’t spoil it here. But it was a round number, one worthy of some really good presents. The poor thing was a little under the weather on her actual birthday, so we celebrated before and after with champagne of course. I am so lucky to call her mine.
To the most wonderful woman I know, Happy Birthday!
I feel so blessed to have known you all my life and half of yours. You taught me how to tie my shoes, the importance of good manners and how to be thoughtful and kind. When my turn comes, I hope I’m half the mother you are to me. Thank you for your unconditional love and support.
Wishing you another few decades of good health and happiness and gentle aging (you don’t look a day over 45). I look forward to toasting many more birthdays by your side, a gift for which I am so grateful.
I love you.
Lauren
