Confession: I am very discerning when it comes to children. I like a select few and tolerate the rest. You take 10+ flights a year to Orlando, a.k.a. Disney World and then tell me what a blessing they are, deal? My friends are slowly entering the baby years, one by one. And I’m making light of it, with the help of Old Tom Foolery.

While I’m not ready to wield a stroller in and out of pedestrian traffic on Fifth Avenue, I am so very happy for you two. I know you will make wonderful parents to that little naval orange. Wishing you both (especially you T) an easy five more months. May this little baby bring you more joy than you ever imagined possible. I can’t wait to meet the little one– I’m expecting a very coo-y apology for his/her planned arrival a week after my wedding…
